We currently don't advertise full-time positions. What we are looking for: students for practice-oriented final theses in our active development areas. Your work doesn't end up on the shelf — it becomes part of real products.

What we offer: A concrete topic from an active product or research project, personal supervision by a subject expert, access to the NEXOS.Factory infrastructure (prototyping, robotics lab), flexible time arrangement, fair compensation.

What we expect: Enrollment at a university or technical college, subject area matching the topic, interest in practice-oriented R&D, ability to work independently.

Local AI inference on NEXOS.Edge, ROS-AI integration, industrial image recognition for pick&place and quality inspection.

XR & digital twin

Browser-based 3D simulation, virtual commissioning, mixed-reality interfaces for machine operation.

Design & mechatronics

Further development of modular systems (NEXOS.Cube, LinDrive, Nova), FEM analysis, drive dimensioning, electrical design.

Autonomous ground vehicles (UGV)

PALLAS/ODIN series: kinematics of tracked and wheeled drives, sensor fusion, autonomous navigation.

Software development & backend

Configurators, digital services (NEXOS.DSP, NEXOS.MAX), data interfaces — full-stack from database to UI.

How to apply

How it works

  1. Short inquiry by email to office@nexos.group — including your degree program, semester, preferred topic area and planned time frame.
  2. First meeting (on site in Traunstein/Deggendorf or remote) — we show you possible topics and you tell us what interests you.
  3. Topic agreement — joint definition of the task, alignment with your university supervisor.
  4. Start — with a clear point of contact, defined milestones and access to our R&D infrastructure.

Full-time positions (engineers, software developers, technicians) will be advertised at a later stage. Unsolicited applications are welcome at any time — same channel.
