NEXOS.LED is a modular LED inlay system that slides seamlessly into the T-slot channels of our NEXOS.Protec profiles. Lighting and status indication become part of the machine structure — no separate luminaires, no add-on beacons, no external cabling.
Basic principle: inlay instead of add-on
Classic machine lighting usually means: separate LED luminaires suspended from the ceiling or a frame, signal beacons mounted on top, visible cable runs. NEXOS.LED works differently — the LED modules slide directly into the T-slots of the Protec profiles. Result:
- Lighting is part of the structure, not an appendage
- No additional brackets, no mounting surface occupied
- Cables routed inside the slot, no external installation
- Easy to clean — no protruding edges or gaps
- Retrofittable to existing Protec structures without mechanical changes
Typical use cases
- Work-area lighting in NEXOS.Cube cells and gantry systems — uniform, glare-free illumination of the process area.
- Signal and status indication — green = OK, amber = wait, red = fault — directly on the cell frame, clearly visible to operators and the environment.
- Contour lighting on safety zones — marking access areas, guard doors, e-stop positions.
- Ambient lighting for cobot workstations — pleasant base illumination without ceiling lighting.
Colour and profile variants
- Colours: warm white, cool white, amber, RGB — for lighting and signalling applications.
- Profile compatibility: fits all NEXOS.Protec variants (Protec120, Protec230, Protec230V). The module geometry follows the T-slot receptacle.
- Lengths cut to cell dimensions or combined from standard module lengths.
Status
NEXOS.LED is currently in late prototype stage. Design data and first samples are available; the system release for standard supply is in preparation. For pilot projects and consultation, please contact us directly.
